Founded in 1993 in Washington, Georgia, J & J Colonial Dry Cleaners, Inc. has proudly grown into one of the area’s most trusted names in professional dry cleaning and garment care services. What began as a small-town dry cleaner has expanded to include two full-service dry cleaning plants in Washington, Georgia and Thomson, Georgia. In addition, we contract processing for two other locations in Elberton, Georgia and Lincolnton, Georgia, allowing us to extend dependable, high-quality dry cleaning services throughout the surrounding communities. For over 30 years, we have proudly served our neighbors with reliable dry cleaning, expert stain removal, professional laundry services, and detailed garment care.

Family ownership is the heart of everything we do. Our business is led by Mr. Walter Jones, who you’ll find at our original Washington location. His son, Rodney Jones, serves as subsidiary owner of the Washington location, and his daughter, Nikeyia Blackmon, leads as General Manager of our Thomson location. Together, they have built a reputation for being friendly, fast, efficient, detail-oriented and committed to doing the job right the first time.

With our main store in Washington and our second location in Thomson, we proudly serve customers throughout the surrounding Georgia communities. We are closed on Sundays to spend time with family, but we’re ready to meet all your dry cleaning and laundry needs:

Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

We’re proud to operate as an eco-friendly dry cleaner, using cleaning methods designed to be safer for your garments and more responsible for our environment. Our goal is simple, deliver exceptional dry cleaning service while protecting the fabrics you love and the community we call home.
